Sky Diver Aircraft

A windy day, dull and overcast, much cooler than the past week.  It started to rain, with mist coming down, finally easing about 7pm.  Mist starting to clear late evening.  The crofters will be glad of rain, and I don't need to water the garden.

Up at 5am, early shift in the airport.  A mix of check-in desk and meeting and boarding flights.  A few minor delays, possibly cancelled ones tonight with the mist.  Sammy is pretty much back to himself again, and keen for walkies with Keba this evening.  Off to bed early.

When I arrived to work this morning, this De Havilland Canada DHC 6-300 Twin Otter aircraft, reg SEGEE, was already sitting on the apron.  Crew and passengers were Swedish.  I wasn't working with the aircraft, nor did I get a chance to chat with them, but they did look ready for a jump in their suits, as they walked through the airport.  Sky diving isn't something we see often in Shetland, but there was recently a 10,000ft jump above Tingwall, not sure if it's the same team.  Taken at Sumburgh Airport.
