A green shield bug

A great start to the day with a video call to Australia to catch up on all their family news. Breakfast in the U.K. Prime TV time in Oz. Unsurprisingly we had differing views on the first Ashes Test Match!

Later a call to Budapest and then signing off the contractors who have finished the external maintenance on our house. It is good to have had this work done in such good weather.

This afternoon I overhauled our bicycles and in the cool of the evening we went for a relaxing spin around the local cycleways.

We also watered all the flowerbeds as sparingly as we could conscious of the preciousness of this vital resource.

My blip shows a green shield bug on the window. There seem to be quite a few of these around at the moment. ( Who remembers Green Shield Stamps, I wonder?! )
