Radio France

We've really enjoyed being able to get rush seats for Radio France concerts through their "Jeudi Oui" promotions. The one we saw tonight was likely the last one of our stay here. It was choral music, with organ, bass, harp and violin accompaniment. All French composers from the late 19th century (Saint-Saens, Dubois, Caplet, Duparc, Delibes, Fauré) but also many women composers (Chaminade, Sohy, Labole, Bonis, Renié, De Grandval).  Although another storm was forecast, it was a lovely evening as we walked home (as per blip). 

Work at home for me, tinkering on the bike for J, and I mailed 6 kgs of books back to Canada this morning.
