Stainforth

A splendid walk today, in the hills East of the village of Stainforth in the Yorkshire Dales. I wish I knew the name of the pointy hill in this shot - but it is off the edge of my map.

It was a tough choice of blip today, the others in my top three being this church and, walking towards Langcliffe, these walls.

The villages were most pleasant, as was the day, hot and calm, so that this mill pond was still as, well, a mill pond.

The walk ended with just a little time for some research at the Craven Heifer, a pub which also contains a post office.
