First Time

Rushed home from work to take the boys to Blackburn for ice skating. We've all been before, except for Rowan so this was his first time. The guy handing out the skates seemed to study each pair for a fair while before handing them over....once we got on the ice they seemed very slippery. I don't know...maybe he gave us the newest blades which are lethal! Might brighten his day! Ha, ha.

Lewis and Jed did really well. Rowan managed to let go of the wall a fair few times and was gaining in confidence. I would say it was one of my poorer performances on the ice...I was a bit of a wall clinger with odd solos inbetween. At least I didn't fall....
