Not Bilbao
Off to catch our plane to Bilbao for the start off this years Spanish adventure in the Picos de Europa.
The plane was delayed for a bit but seemed to catch up some time so it was all looking good, we were through the gate check-in and ready to board and then there was a technical fault which would be resolved fairly quickly. Then about 90 minutes later boom the flight was cancelled, no replacement, no real communication and no answers. Everyone then met at the information desk to essentially be kicked out of the airport and retrieve their luggage with of course the added indignity of having to go through passport control which was as above bathed in sunlight.
I think EasyJet were absolutely bang out of order to be honest, I know that things can go wrong but to essentially have some minions tell us all the bad news and then do nothing is not great.
I managed to find a flight to Bilboa on Wednesday morning so we're booked onto that now having had to amend our parking and drive home again, there will be compensation claims a plenty when we get back, if that is we make it out there on Wednesday
