It's Katie's ballet show on Sunday. So the whollllllee of the next three days are about that really. I have another image I love for today, but this is what is important to her at the moment, and what she's excited about, so it's what I'm blipping about!

I took the whole day off with her so we could have some nice time together, especially before all the busyness. We bought her first bun hairnet and grips for the bun. This is her first fully netted and properly pinned bun. She looks super adorable with it up "properly". We went and bought her "ballet show pants" (she actually didnt own a single pair of plain white pants!)

The rehearsal was really good. They got changed then her and her little friends had a snack while they waited for their turn to go in the main studio. They returned for 2 minutes to change into tap shoes but otherwise they were away from Mummies for 1hr 30 minutes and were so good. After they'd finished, one of their teachers came in so full of delight and bursting to tell us how gorgeous, adorable and fabulous they had been. Katie was absolutely buzzing. The joy that she gets from ballet fills me with delight. She loves her other dance, but its ballet that she adores.

The excitement was increased after ballet when I told her that Granny and Grandad were waiting at the nearby park to play with her. We got there just as they reached the front of the ice cream queue (they'd thoughtfully planned just that!) - best bargain for a 99 too at 70p! We had a good play in the play park and were then joined by two of her ballet friends, including the little one to the left of Katie in the blip.

We cycled on a station to normal as it was sunny and lovely. She ate a whole bunch of snacks. Within minutes of getting home though she had announced she was a bit tired. I managed to get her toileted, washed and jammied with about 30 seconds to spare before serious snoring commenced.

We got to do our dances 2 times. Miss Vanessa was there. And sophie. And lots of Mary Poppins. The big girls were in white.
I liked playing outside with Edana and Mabel
My ice cream was yummy
