Goooooo Ape! A massive hurdle for Rosie...

She only went and done it! Today was a massive massive hurdle for Rosie she goes on a school activity week next week and the thought of herself in a tree petrified her. So, we decided to try her on a go ape junior. Last time we were at highlodge she made it as high as my head on the climbing wall so we really thought today would be hard work!

We arrived and went straight over had a few safety checks but managed to make sure Rosie didn't see any of it! Then off we went harnessed up and all attached there was no way back!

We climbed the tower and half way up she started wobbling, I told her to keep looking up and carry on and she did! Halfway round when we had to stop as there was a traffic jam she was looking around and started to wobble again but soon as we went off she just wanted to get to the zip wire and she did it!

I on the other hand have realised I haven't lost it with age and loved every minute (except when it was swaying and I couldn't control it) but what a great day and so many challenges for Rosie ticked off!

Oh another one was to go on the highest slide there which she never would have done and she did that too, twice! ;-)
