Garden Party

It was the Ruby Anniversary of our local Arts Society and to celebrate, we held a garden party in the stunningly beautiful Elford Walled Garden.

It was raining seriously this morning but by the time we arrived and enjoyed our glass of Prosecco, it was no longer pouring and the gardens looked so refreshed.

The roses had suffered under the deluge, and the wildflower bed was not the spectacular sight of last week, before the poppies fell, but it was nevertheless a magnificent setting for our get together.

So lovely to gather with so many of our interesting friends. Cheers !
