Winding wheels

During the tramworks on Leith Walk, two cable winding wheels for Edinburgh's original tram system were discovered under the road and removed for restoration. They have now been put on view in a new public space at the end of Iona Street, and I've been meaning to photograph them and blip them for a while. I must take a closer look at them when I have more time. They were levered back into place on 25 May in anticipation of the launch of the tram service last week.

Other than that....well, I managed a reasonable peloton workout, cycled to work, worked, went to a long meeting, and cycled home again via the off licence. That is all.
