She Bangs the Drum

Busy, crafty, musical day for the girls. Morning was spent at The Burnlaw Centre, which was a wonderfully relaxing venue for an arts and crafts session, using recycled materials. The girls made flowers out of old pop bottles. The centre also has an interesting selection of musical instruments. Arwen liked this drum and proceeded to use it as a baby walker across the floor.
This weekend is the village fair and as is tradition it kicked off with arts and crafts for the children this afternoon, followed by a kids' disco into the evening. The latter was a nightmare as the DJ very thoughtfully gave out whistles to all the kids ten minutes in. Chaos ensued.
