Mixed up weather

I was awake and listening to the Dawn chorus at 4.47am. I dozed until 6.30am, and lounged until 7am. When I dragged myself out of bed to go downstairs, it was very dark. We then had torrential rain.

I discovered a very wet floor in the bathroom when I went to brush my teeth - the roof couldn’t cope with the downpour. We have this occasionally! I think we need a roof repair!!!

I turned up to work mid morning, and left late afternoon. I stopped here to call my sister; I’m feeling a bit cut off / alone down here. The sky looked very moody.
