Calmer weather

This evening the weather calmed down somewhat, but the sea remained rough. This is a view from the deck upstairs. We woke to strong winds and rain this morning and fortunately golf was cancelled. I was dressed early but hoping for the cancellation call. It's was miserable and cold most of the day and hubby and I are enjoying our fire this evening.
Today I spent time sorting stuff for our church fete next month. I am trying to get rid of some of the novels that I have read and won't read again!! It's always difficult to part with books, but once read I'm sure other people will enjoy them. - most of my non fiction and reference books will never leave.
Hubby has sorted out dozens of CDs, which he found very difficult to do.
An early night for me...and I will admit to taking a book off the pile and maybe reading it again!!
