Fallen Petals

It was a lovely sunny day today. I decided to go for a walk up to the shops to get some vitamin D... And some comfort food.

On the way back home I spotted these fallen petals on the side, they stood out to me as they lay beneath the tree. The colour standing out against the green of the grass. I'm not really sure why I liked it so much, perhaps it reminded me of the cycle of life, the changes that occur. Or maybe just their beauty caught my attention.
