A Safe Place

We walked down to Polkerris, where some youngsters were learning boat-handling skills in the shelter of the harbour, then up & along the coast path to Par, where we had yet another meet-up, this time with J, M & E, for lunch. The extra shows the view across Par Beach towards the harbour & various drying sheds used by the china clay works. Wikipedia tells me that some parts are still operating, though most of the work has moved elsewhere.

Our return to the campsite was slightly shorter over inland paths which are part of the "Saints' Way" - no cliff steps involved!
