It’s a toss up

As to which one is more disturbed: the chicken with the sore foot or the one assisting with the treatment! :—) Maudine has “bumblefoot”. It occurs when they get a scratch or cut on their foot and it forms an abscess. Not uncommon and treatable. Just not fun for bird or people. Seems to happen more in wet weather.
Hopefully we got hers early. I noticed her limping and found it. She got a foot bath , treatment and a bandage. Hard to do without help. Johnny May have been grumpy, but he was helpful. :—))
