La Grande Arche

I spent last night in the hotel room preparing a presentation for this morning’s meeting. Probably a good thing as it meant I got to bed at a reasonable time and wasn’t swayed by the bright lights of Paris.

As if!

Got a good nights sleep, up and away after breakfast and I was going to walk the 6km to La Defence but even at 7:30 the heat and humidity was too much. I didn’t want to turn up for our 10am meeting honking. Good Scottish term.

Arrived at La Defence early so grabbed a coffee, waited for my French colleague to arrive and watched the early morning runners head for La Grande Arche.

Flying back late this evening.
