Room for a couple more!

I don't know how many sparrows are living in my rhododendrons but I have seen as many as a dozen fighting for a space at the fat balls. I filled up the feeder this morning with six balls and then just before tea I had to fill it up again .... some voracious appetites and not just the sparrows, a few starlings arrived and very quickly sent the sparrows flying back to the bushes.

A visit to the podiatrist this morning followed by a walk which turned out to be a walk in torrential rain. I did have a waterproof jacket in my bag but my footwear was totally unsuitable for a wet walk .... will my shoes recover .... only time will tell.
