Busy Bee

Tom and I went to Acorn Bank this morning. The gardens were beautiful, full of flowers, growing fruit and lots of pollinating insects. It's owned by The National Trust.

I knew the cafe at Acorn Bank was closed and I'd planned to lunch at Lowther Castle, see extra. Tom had a vegan flat bread, he really enjoyed it. I had a local cheese and chutney sandwich. 

The weather has been lovely today. Cloudy sunshine with quite a breeze. I gave the garden a good water with the hose pipe.
