A Teenager? - How Did That Happen?
I attacked some of the garden this morning and scattered a load of the contents of the compost bin. It will be dug in over the next few days (hopefully) to try and improve at least a small area of the garden.
I wasn't able to do any more as my back was beginning to scream at me and we had to go to a funeral service in the early afternoon.
The church was packed and I ended up having to stand the entire time (not fun) under the balcony which increased the heat quite a bit.
It was the funeral of a neighbour from nearly 40 years ago who was also in the police and his daughter was best pals with Bags as youngsters.
There were loads of faces I recognised but unfortunately my memory could not come up with one name. I know where they worked, in what capacity and could tell stories about them - but could I remember their names? Could I bollox. Very frustrating.
We went and delivered The Cygnet's birthday present after he got home from school.
It feels like only yesterday when I got the phone call calling me away from a camera club night out to go to the hospital to meet him (and to bring a Big Mac and a Strawberry shake for Bags - who hadn't eaten all day).
Yellow flowers, a blue eyed cat and pink orchids were pictured today and can be found Here.
