Midsummer

I sat briefly on my birthday bench before bed this evening. Too tired to fully appreciate the longest day but I did appreciate the peace in the garden after a fairly frustrating work day. Students have generally been the high points today and staff the lows.

The roses are very definitely over-laden and blocking the light to other things so they will be getting a trim this weekend. They are lovely to look at even if they are rampaging.
