American Gold Finch

Obie and I were down in the wetlands again and saw the WA. State bird. I must say that even though it is officially the "state bird" I rarely see one.

This little guy flew right into my path, and this was the best shot I could get. I got a few of his back end, but who wants to view someone else's back side?

We did have a nice walk and captured some nice photos on our way. The sun has not cooperated much as yet. will see what the rest of the day brings!!
