Skara Brae

Visited Skara Brae today. Much different to our first visit in 2011 when you could step in to the site itself. Now it is a walk around the perimeter. On the other hand the new interpretation centre is fantastic. There is a reconstruction of the Neolithic houses and their contents based on the archeological finds at the site. Just seeing the setting of the ancient site with the sea on one side and the fields on the other is breathtaking.
