The studio roof

While I've got most of the painting done inside, Dan has decided to do a green roof on the studio. I climbed up to see how it looked from the top. Look at that beautiful blue sky!
He had covered the roof with ice and water shield (several years ago and it's gotten a little weathered so...) then with a heavy duty billboard tarp. On top of that he has spread wood shavings. He's thinking he may throw some mushrooms up there and let some fungus get started. The reason is it is cheap to do. It would be really cool to see some flowers get started at some point but who knows what will grow. Maybe just moss which would be fine. I hope it works like it's supposed to. I'm pretty sure it will be fine :-)
