Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons

A fabulous day out to Raymond Blanc’s wonderful restaurant, organised by our local garden centre.

We started with a fascinating tour of the gardens with one of his team, outlining the history, the developments, and the plans for the future.

He has commissioned a range of statues, some to honour his mother, others to recognise the achievements of key members of his team, including the lady who guided him in the early developments of the garden and becoming a hotelier.

My blip is just one of the beautiful statues, located carefully in beautiful settings. It is a stunning garden, as well as being a highly successful and productive garden.

It was hot, but we saw the garden in all its glory - and a glass of champagne was very welcome as we relaxed after our tour.
