Not purple

YET! These are two of the Cherokee purple tomatoes I grew! I pulled them off the vine just as they were starting to turn reddish because I was afraid something would get them…like a deer!

They have been ripening on the windowsill and still need a few more days. The darker color around the top and sides will turn almost purple when it gets good and ripe.

I can’t wait!
