Are those feet back on the ground, Mum?
Wow, what a day yesterday was. I couldn't get off my 'high' last night, got home from the train at about 8pm to walk the dogs and potter...until nearly 11pm! For me that's the middle of the night!! It was one of the best days of my 38 years...an amazing experience and certainly a turning point in my life. I didn't know I looked like that...I'm very chuffed and proud! And for both of Max's photos to hit spotlight...wow! Such lovely comments, a girl can't help feeling good about herself!
So today I woke at 5.45am, went through the usual routine and hit the gym. It was nice to be back after those three days off. I headed to an early meeting with the Head of PR to prep for next week's media launch, and then spent the entire afternoon with the architect and project planner. Exciting yet very busy times. I got home about half four to meet Mum and Dad who are up for the weekend. After the busy week I've had it was great to see them...we have two days of quality time ahead and no work on the agenda! We went out for dinner to The Crown and enjoyed my treat meal....roasted cod, potatoes and salad leaves...a gin and tonic and two glasses of sauvignon blanc. Bloody lovely!!
Now...it's nearly 10pm. Bed is calling, I'm back in the gym in the morning! ;0)
