Went to upholstery this morning. Got there and realised I’d forgotten the foam block to make the seat cushion and also dark grey thread. FortunatelyN had some suitable thread so I made piping all morning. I needed double to cover the staples on the sprung seat which I did on Tuesday, and single to edge the seat cushion that I will begin next week. We didn’t measure correctly though so I will need to make more next week. It won’t take long as I already have plenty of bias fabric cut.
Went into town on the bus for Mixed Media- cyanotype prints today. I quite liked them and they haven’t gone in the bin(yet?).
Passed Trent Bridge on the way. There was a nice bustle due to the women’s Ashes taking place. Although I don’t watch live sport I do like being close to the spirts grounds. Maybe I should start to be a spectator!
