Small figures and bigger ones, some garden pots, dirty windows and more. The best of a bad photo day. I spent an hour at the garden centre. It’s more interesting than watching paint dry.
The painter arrived as promised with his sandpaper. It didn’t work so he went to his van, got a ‘knife’ and then attacked the window. Not the prettiest of jobs but it shuts. The four that he glossed yesterday are still very tacky 24 hours on. I’ve never used paint that’s taken that long to dry. I’ll have to leave the windows open again tonight.
To add to the problems I went into the freezer late morning for a scone and while hunting moved a loaf of bread. It was soft. I know it was frozen yesterday lunchtime.
I think I need a new freezer. It did work with the fast freeze button pressed but my neighbour has an empty drawer in hers so I’ve put my ice cream and other important/ more expensive items in it. Other bits are in the fridge to use over the next 3 or 4 days and a small amount will have to go in the bin.
