Whitstable

We drove to Whitstable this morning to visit Dad in the nursing home there. It was good to see him after many months. He was looking much better, is obviously being cared for well, and doesn’t seem to be too sad to be there. So, all good. He had lots of things to remind him of home including lots of photo albums. It was really good to go through them with him and I liked this photo of him and his Dad in the early 1950s. (No 1 son is very like my Dad to look at). Quite an emotional morning. From here to meet Santana’s daughter and husband for coffee in West Malling. We hadn’t seen them for a while so that was good too. Now back in Shepperton with No 2 son.
