Telford

A trip down to Shropshire to visit Mavis on her birthday.She seemed a bit down so we decided to take her to Telford town centre.What can be said about Telford town centre other than it is a dump and enough to make anyone depressed.Perhaps not one of our better decisions.

We used the A49 instead of the motorways which was much more pleasant.Just before Whitchurch stopped at the Sheep Shed cafe and had a very good breakfast.
I think that this part of Cheshire may be a good area to explore on the motorcycle because the Forest of Bowland is far too busy now.It goes against all my instincts to ever head south when I have some time to myself but perhaps it is time to try.
