Castle Howard

This is Castle Howard - a stately home about 15 miles north of York.

Built in the 1700s it is home to the Howard family and was the setting for the 1980s adaptation and 2008 film version of Brideshead Revisited.

We spent the day wandering around and then had a lovely cup of tea in the cafe :-)
