Long Pond from Beech Mtn.

A pretty full day with a little bit of everything. Plenty of time to relax in the morning and drink coffee. Watched a doe with her spotted fawn meandering out on the marsh. An early morning hike up Beech Mountain. More coffee accompanied by a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon. Time to get a little curriculum planning done for next year. Cleared out the kitchen, reorganized some cluttered shelving, and scrubbed the floor. Made a delicious pasta salad. Laundry, followed by a margarita and some time relaxing on the porch. Finally made that doctor's appointment I had to cancel back in March. Ate much of the rum cake I baked yesterday. All in all a fine day!
