An evening's entertainment

The band I play in have the first of this year's park concerts on Sunday. Harrogate valley gardens is one of our favourites because of the location and the audience we attract there, especially if the weather is good.

The band has just had its rent for the weekly practice increased from £17.50 to £40.50 which is a major blow! (Pun intended!). At the 'park's jobs' we are allowed to collect so I decided we need to be a bit bolder in asking for money this year. Miss H and I have spent the evening making this sign to display on Sunday. Need to improve it but for a first attempt we are quite pleased with our evening work.
