A purple and white petunia

The Feast Day of the Birth of John the Baptist.
It is a lovely morning, 19c and a little humid. Quite alot of people are about and walking their dogs.
There are no new narrowboats on our part of the canal so far and no cats.
I have watered my plants and the rose is doing well. It is starting to drizzle now! More snails will come out, as is what usually happens.
In the afternoon Paul and me went to Prestige beds where a kind young man gave us a tour of the store and the various bed frames and well designed firm matresses.
Then we also bought a special snow brand cold temperature mattress cover. Ideal for if we get heatwaves. Guaranteed 10 years. Then to The Range for new duvets and covers and pillowcases. Paul also treated me to a soft grey faux fur bedside mat. It is gorgeous. After that we did our Tesco shopping.
