……………………until next Sunday! Our cabin window is just above the red line and below the mid point of the first two life boats.

We saw the first lights of Denmark as we did our late evening walk after dinner last night and by this morning we were cruising between Denmark and Sweden. We arrived at our first port of call about 1pm and were ready to disembark straight after lunch.

Fredericia is a fortress town…much like Berwick-upon-Tweed without the annoying seagulls! We had a good circular walk around the ramparts and coast line, a good 4-5 miles…arriving back in time for a quick afternoon tea. It’s been a very warm and muggy afternoon…we’re shattered having put in nearly 15k steps so far today. We’ll be sailing just before dinner this evening headed for Kiel.
