On the Stage

First event at the Town Hall since it came under community control. A low key event with the Stitches for Survival exhibition. We still had over 220 people in the building to look round over the course of 6 hours between 10am and 4pm. As well as being impressed with the wonderful tapestry panels there were lots of people interested to see inside the building. For some, who have been in Porty for less than four years, it was their first time inside, while for others it brought back fond memories, like these two who remembered many events in the Town Hall. The man on the right had even sung on the stage in the past.
