Carder Bee

I have a lot of these yellow Sedums in my garden, just opening. It didn't take long for the Carder Bees to discover them.

I've had one of those rather sad days. It seems to happen more often at weekends, when everyone else appears to be part of a couple or family. It makes you feel invisible. I'm not looking for pity, just mentioning how radically your life changes when you lose your life partner (in my case, also my business partner). It's a reminder to never take family or friends for granted. We never know how long we've got them for.
