National PollinatorWeek Day 6: 'Weedy Wonderland'

Our next door neighbor has moved out and is about to place her house on the market. Her front yard is, as I call it, a 'blank canvas'. No trees, no flowers, nothing to invite pollinators or other wild creatures. She pays someone to come and cut the 'lawn'. This hasn't happened in a few weeks and the 'weeds' are growing rapidly, what with all the rain we've been getting. Needless to say, I'm absolutely thrilled! I sat on my power chair in front of her yard this morning, marveling at all of the pollinators buzzing and fluttering around those 'weeds'. I know that eventually, someone will come and chop everything down, but for now her yard is a Wonderland. 
Please consider saving some space for pollinators and other living things.
