Birds of the day
I was delighted to see two birds I've not seen before at RSPB Lochwinnoch today - the sedge warbler singing his heart out and the spotted flycatcher, posing perfectly.
Extras attached of waterfowl among the marsh marigolds and a blue damselfly. Also one of lots of lovely wildflowers and the Peel Tower, which now can be seen from the new boardwalk. It dates back to the 16th century.
A warm afternoon after the overnight rain had cleared.
