Golden Brown

We went out for lunch today, but at mid-thirties in the shade it was too hot for Janet and we came home to soak in the pool.

As I type John has come home from his cycle ride in the Pyrenees. I like a cycle ride as you know, but he's covered 145km and climbed a cumulative 3,200 metres in the same temperatures we were staggering in.

Anyhow, while I took some shots out and about today I really liked this one because of the colours. The composition isn't perfect but go Large and see the colour of the lily reflected in the mech-armour of the bug!

The pain, by the way, is now only coming in waves and in between them I am almost human. Almost.
