Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad

On our walk today, the D&SNGRR passed by close with a double header.  The train is pulling 13  coaches and needs the extra power of the second loco to climb the hill just north of town.  Seems like many people are coming to town to ride the train - good for the city and nice to see!

Further on the way on our walk, we saw a shorter train crossing the Animas River bridge.  Sort of a two train days!  Whoopee!!
