Pyrenean lily

We had no idea about this plant that was emerging in the side garden until I put a picture of the leaves on Facebook and someone suggested that it was a Pyrenean lily. Indeed. Really curious organisation of the petals.

We've had a quiet day in Tain. It's mainly been quite grey, but warm, although there was a bit of rain in the afternoon. Latterly, it was sunny and we sat out for an hour on the westerly side of the cottage enjoying (actually avoiding as it was too warm and bright) the sun and generally "shooting the breeze". We did a thing. It was the right thing.
