Margate Day 2

Up after a good night's sleep and another hot one was brewing. Out to seek out some murals and then along the beach and a cooked breakfast to set us up for the day. Through the town again; coffee at the Turner Contemporary; a trip to the eccentric Crab Museum, buying a few gifts, a delicious ice cream from Ramsay and Williams. The heat was building again - yesterday had been the hottest I've been all year. We headed for the train home early afternoon as the arriving trains emptied out with hundreds of people on every service heading for Margate. Leaving at the right time, and cool train back to St. Pancras. We had to head from Liverpool St. due to engineering works, but eventually back in a hot Ely and drove home. Over 5 hour journey, but all went smoothly. Home for food, fizz and Glastonbury. A nice weekend interlude.
