The Gardeners!

We finally got a really good and true spring day! sunny, warm and here we have Sonja and Richard planting the corn. They got lots of planting done today, and they also got some lovely blackfly bites!!

I spent the day glazing and preparing for the kiln to be loaded tomorrow! But i had to take a wee detour down to Baddeck cos the library sent me a magical note telling me that some of the books on CD's had arrived! Then i had the afternoon to be entertained - another great murder mystery set in Quebec. i've listened to Louise Penny's great stories, with her regular Inspector Gameche.......good sleuthing tales!

And after a lovely trip to the top of one of the hills here.....Terry whisked me off....wine in hand, we sat and watched as the clouds rolled in and darkness descended! lovely to have a few quiet moments together amidst the busyness of the house at this time of year!
