An Old Soldier

I saw this old ex WD BSA M20 500cc side valve at Llandow this morning.
Correct in every detail plus the vokes air filter on the petrol tank. I believe its year is about 1942/44.
I restored two of these motorcycles about 25 years ago , wished I'd keeped one
