Phew - what a scorcher!

This may not look like it, but it is a busy beach.  Just over the edge of that shingle is a slope down to the water and it was filled with bathers, sunbathers and shore fishermen, all enjoying the glorious sunshine.  I didn't walk far; just enough to take a few shots before heading back home.

Someone told us when we moved here that if the day was hot and sunny the town would be quiet but if it was raining, it would be difficult to find a parking space anywhere.  On the good days all the holidaymakers head to the beach but on wet days they decide to go shopping and sightseeing.  As expected, this morning the town centre was quiet as a mouse.
