Gifted

I went into the town centre this morning to buy a couple of things, and to investigate a new pair of running shoes. 

On my way back to the car I noticed a new item - street art or an installation of some kind - outside the Town House, and stopped to satisfy my curiosity.

I am glad I did. It is a gift from city of Ingolstadt to Kirkcaldy to mark the 60th anniversary (in 2022) of the twinning between them. It is a copy of a model of Ingolstadt , the original having been created by Jakob Sandtner in 1562-3. 

It rained most of the afternoon, so I am glad I got out in the morning and that I have a couple of good books to read.
