A Volta de Valente

(Valente's Return). 

Wonderful to see Valente at the Adega today. He's the lead singer for the traditional Cante Alentejano that the men do, and has basically been away since Covid began because of his vulnerable wife. And so we had some excellent singing today. 

There, and in church, where Celeste and her group were in good form. And we can share the peace again.

And in our home church's Livestream as well, led by our daughter today.

Gratefuls:
- now, at almost 8pm, it's gone down three degrees... to 39C (102F), so we might venture out
- catching up on sleep at naptime (difficult to sleep well at night when it's so hot, but while the sun is shining, we can turn the air con on, bliss)
- feeling known and welcomed at both church and the Adega
