... The excitement of London yesterday, today I rather liked the peaceful early morning scene of the cows having a relaxing Sunday lay-in. I know the Farmer of these beef cattle, and although their life is short, it's a good life, and they are extremely well looked after.

Bit of a lazy day today. Recovering from the exertions of yesterday, and then the heat of today, really couldn't be bothered with too much.

I called into the garden centre, bought a tray of Bizzy Lizzies. As I came through the front door, the handle on the plant tray snapped, and like buttered toast always lands butter side down, they landed face down! Urgh! half of them snapped in half.
